Hi Girls! Goodness, I posted two days ago, but for some reason it feels like I haven't spoken with you for a long time! I guess I just love hearing from all of you! Outside, the snow is falling, and falling. Eighteen more inches on top of the fifteen we got just three days ago! I really can't say that I'm even minding the snow. Maybe because I'm not doing the shoveling and snow blowing. Inside though, we're keeping warm with lots of hot tea and hot cocoa. I've been doing some spring crafting like I mentioned in my last post too! Like little girls have an Easter Bonnet parade, here they are... a little "egg parade", if you will. I decked the girls out in their Easter Sunday best! Lots of yummy millinery.I tucked in some vintage netting and tulle in there for added foof-i-ness! I am loving the antique, cracked and chippy patina the gold leafing gives. Makes them feel like they've been around for years. I made six of these in total. My mom showed them to one of her friends who owns a little shop downtown that sells all things handmade(nothing with a vintage feel, though) She called me and asked me if I'd want to sell them in her shop! I was so surprised and of course happy. She said she has nothing that looks like this, and her shop needs a breath of fresh air! So, all six of these eggs are off to the shop on Thursday! I'm planning to make some more to add to a few Easter baskets and maybe one for myself!
