Last night, I got myself into something. Don't know yet if that something is a good thing or not. You see, in my studio I have a bookshelf/cabinet. Whatever you call it, it's plain white and has sliding glass doors. Not ugly, just not beautiful either. It's Pottery Barn plain. But, it stores my junque and also shows it off. Well, like I said I got myself into something. I had a "brilliant idea" to decoupage the interior walls of the cabinets with sheet music.
Thought I'd share with you what I have done so far. (My studio's in my basement, so there's no natural light. You'll still get the point.) I did the walls of four of the shelves. There are at least ten. I didn't count.
See the velvet berry hat? Isn't it yummy? The berries are perfect, in mint condition. And of course, the shelves are clean and tidy too.( I just didn't show you the huge table in front of the cabinet that is covered.)
So girls, what do you think? Should I do the entire case? Or should I break it up and keep some white space? Or should I have just left my hands off of the case? Honestly, I wanted to cover it with vintage wallpaper, I just didn't have enough.
Leave a comment, tell me your thoughts and I'll pick a name on Thursday and send you a surprise parcel in the mail.
Hope your weekend is off to a beautiful start!
You know I am for going all the way, but breaking it up a bit might be a very nice variation....LOve what you have done so far...Hugzzz...Tiina....

I agree...the sheet music should go all the way...it makes the background...something nice, but doesn't detract from your pretties. Sometimes wallpaper can be a tad more distracting.
