The Marrying Kind

You see that face? That's the face of One happy bride to be. A bride that waited three years for this day to finally arrive.

Walking away from the church hand in hand. It felt more like floating that day.

As soon as I met you my love, I knew you were the marrying kind.

You are my best friend, the only one for me. Happy Anniversary you sweet man.

My husband and I are celebrating our sixth anniversary tomorrow .

That day, June 10, 2003 was a perfect day. I wish I could relive the day, especially the reception over and over again. The family, the friends, the food, the champagne and the wine and the band, oh how I love that band! We hired a band that "specialized" in all the classic Italian American songs. We danced the night away to Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra, Louis Prima with others tucked in also. During the course of the day my face hurt from smiling and laughing so much. I was wishing the reception could go on forever. After it finally did wrap, it was into the wee hours of the morning. Funny I did not notice during how badly my feet were hurting, it was only after the music stopped.

I would have never guessed that in those six years we would have three little ones. Here's to the next six and the next six and the six after that and that and that. Here's to eternity, my dear.

On an entire other note, I dropped my camera yesterday. I think she may be a goner. I am doing a little research into a new one. If you use a camera you love, don't hesitate to make a suggestion. As of now, I am leaning towards a Canon.
