On our way home from our trip, I was thinking about how much I missed our kids and in addition to our kids, I also missed my own bed. Even thought about doing a silly post on my bed! Then, just like that, I got a bug that left me barricaded in my bedroom alone. Talk about making up for lost time! LOL I'm happy to report that I'm feeling much better! I washed all the bed linens early this morning and cranked open the windows. The bed's been made for the first time in two days and it feels good to be about the house today.
For the past two days, I've been alternating between the bed and the bedroom floor. Happy to report the pillows are back on the bed, where they're supposed to be. I'm just A little stiff and sore from all that lying around.
This morning, I was able to make and eat breakfast with my family! Something I take for granted most days. Stuffed French Toast encrusted with cinnamon sugar Corn Flakes and topped with berries. Yum! And those little faces on the kids looked extra cute today. After not seeing them for more than a few minutes in the past two days. Gosh, I've missed those little birds! So happy I'll be able to spend the day with them!
After the kids were off to school, I wandered outside to water some things in the garden. I've been wanting to share with you my Wisteria! I'm so excited that it's finally bloomed after being planted for over three years, this is the first year with blooms and it's positively loaded with them!! Too bad they''ll be gone all too soon...
And one of my favorites, Bleeding Heart.... bigger and better than ever this year! Well, I think I hear my little guy waking and I need to get a move on. There's still plenty to do around here to make up from my sick days! Have a beautiful day!
Happy that you're feeling better. Pretty room. Yummy breakfast. Gorgeous flowers. Thanks for sharing.
p.s. I took you recommendation on your perfumes. Love them. Love their pretty bottles too.

I am so glad you are better, Gabrielle. Hope your babies or your husband don't atch it because that means you will be busy and you probably need to take at easy.
Gosh your garden looks so beautiful. It looks so lush and thick. I don't even think we have wisteria. Our flowers are so miserable in comparison. Little spring here. We have a few daffodils...and I love them...but not much else. I wish the lilacs would bloom. They are getting close. I love to bring bunches of them in the house...and I am so allergic to them! Silly me!
And what a yummy looking breakfast you made! Your kids must adore you. I have never seen anything quite so beautiful. I don't like breakfast but I am sure I would love these!
I think I vote you supermom!
Suz
P.S. Thanks for stopping at my blog tonight and for the nice nice comments. It made me smile!

Suz, you always have the sweetest things to say... So far, two of my little ones gotten it. Ive went through so many crib sheets, I have had to resort to using his sisters old pink floral crib sheets.
Lilacs smell divine. I wish I had some in my backyard.... theres only so much room, though....
Supermom is not me by a far cry. My kids have had breakfast straight from the cereal box more than Id like to admit! LOL
Have a happy weekend!

I'm so glad you are feeling better. Mums simply don't have time to be ill do they?!
Your breakfast...yum!!!
Wisteria is gorgeous. Ours had to be cut back quite a bit last year, it grows on the side of the garage, and we had a window and door put in, so it had to be taken back.Thankfully it's not only growing back ok, but it is flowering. I love the delicate scent of it, as well as the scrummy colour.
Loved seeing your NY photos. What a lovely getaway for you both.
