Snow day today.... again.
These paper flowers on my window sill are making me smile a bit, although I feel rather out of sorts and off kilter today...
They make me wish for spring, instead, I've got snow.....
More snow...
I baked a cake.
I like to bake cakes and eat them too. The kids like to bake cakes and eat them too.
They wanted to celebrate the snow day.... I lit the candles for them, but did not partake in the celebration of another snow day.... Pardon me, but I hope you can understand.
I did however, have a slice of cake....
I think I'll put a movie in the VHS player to entertain them. Because I am done. They like The Parent Trap with Haley Mills. It's my movie from when I was little. I've heard way too much bickering today and am going to implement a mandatory quiet time during the movie..... Anyone else so over SNOW DAYS?
Oh, I am so wishing for Spring right now as we're right in the middle of a snowstorm! The kids were home all day, but we spent some time playing Hide and Seek, and working in the art room making Valentines. Lots of TV though, I must admit!
How was your trip to Disney? What a change in temperature that must be!

Your cake looks scrumptious!!! And I love the paper flowers in your window sill. I have my kitchen window sill decorated in spring colors...it helps me forget the snow outside!

What a beautiful cake! Yummy! And love the flowers as well! Avery pretty post, even though you are not feeling the greatest. I am ready for spring as well, but I dont mind the snow so much as it covers up all the brown, ugly stuff we have until things start growing again. Take care, Amy

The flowers and the cake are so beautiful! I want a piece of that cake right now. I am laughing at the mandatory quiet time. And movie time. Both are necessary for mothers!
You are a dear, Gabriella!
Hugs,
Suz
